Dr. Megan Kennedy

Hi! I’m Dr. Megan Kennedy and I am an associate veterinarian at Avon Animal Hospital. I was born and raised in Prince Edward Island where I also graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2018. I spent the last 2.5 years practicing in southwestern Ontario in small animal general practice though I am thrilled to be doing what I love back on the East coast with my family close by!

It was a childhood dream come true when I gained acceptance to the AVC as I’ve always had a love and desire for helping animals and wanted to be a veterinarian… except when I briefly considered becoming a singer (which didn’t work out despite the lessons).

I have a passion for dentistry, preventative medicine, and in forming veterinary-patient-client relationships. Every day I look forward to snuggling and helping patients, creating close relationships with pet owners, and helping to improve pet health through client education and teamwork.

Fun Fact: Despite growing up by the ocean, my favourite body of water will always be the beautiful Lake Huron.
