Avon Animal Hospital has been part of the Windsor, NS community for over 25 years. Our practice is made up of a team of compassionate animal healthcare professionals who strive to make a difference in the lives of our patients and clients. With a team of 7 veterinarians, we offer small animal and equine services. We are a fully equipped facility, including a full in-house lab.

All of our equine veterinarians are proud members of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP).

Our team takes great pride and joy in serving the wonderful community of Windsor. Referred to as the “Birthplace of Ice Hockey,” our town is part of Hants County and is a 1-hour drive away from the province’s capital. Windsor is nestled on the joining banks of the Avon and St. Croix Rivers, surrounded by lush and expansive forests such as Falls Lake Provincial Park and Victoria Park. We enjoy a slower pace of life and spending time out in nature.

Fun Fact: Windsor’s sister city is Cooperstown, NY, known as the “Birthplace of Baseball.”
